A free edition is available so you can check your own drawings before buying. For that reason, purchases are non-refundable.
What is included
- DWG opened directly in QGIS — R14 through 2018 and later, no converter step. QGIS' own DWG import stops before it (#48637, open since 2022)
- 3D solids drawn as faces — 3DSOLID and REGION are boundary representations, not meshes, and QGIS’s importer skips them. Pro reads the ACIS data and brings every face in as a 3D polygon, curved surfaces and holes included
- Old drawings recovered — R13 and earlier are decoded and then discarded by the stock library, so every tool built on it calls them unreadable. Pro ships a patched converter that keeps the drawing. Both R12 files in our sample set open with layer names, blocks and text intact
- Windows and macOS converters bundled, so it works the moment you install it — including on a machine with no internet
- Batch folder conversion with a per-file CSV report
- A whole delivery merged into one GeoPackage
- Mapping profiles that merge several CAD layers into one feature class of your schema
- Align to map, elevations (Z) kept, open polylines closed
- Block attributes (ATTRIB) extracted into queryable GIS fields, where the drawing has them

Licence terms
- It is a perpetual licence. Buy once and use that version without a time limit.
- The first year of updates comes with it. After that, renewal is $99 a year, on a yearly cycle, and it is optional.
- The test is the release date: any version released before your updates expire keeps working, whenever you install it.
- Licensed for 10 users. Ask us if you need more.
- No limit on the number of installations within that office.
- It never needs the internet. The key carries its own proof, so activation is instant and offline — there is no server to reach and nothing to re-check. It works on an isolated network and keeps working if we disappear.
Check the free edition first
The free edition reads DXF, with no limit and no time limit. If you have a DWG, save one as DXF from the CAD you already use and open that — it shows you exactly how your drawings come across before you spend anything: how the layers split, whether the text survives, whether the hatches rebuild.
Pro removes that conversion step and adds the work an office does with a folder of drawings. What that produces is on the overview, with real screens and a real report.

Installation and usage are in the documentation. If a drawing does not open or the result looks wrong, tell us before you buy — the symptoms are usually enough, you do not need to send the drawing.
